Welcome to Miller Family Pediatrics

Many new families have come to our practice when the traditional medical approach has failed to meet their children's needs. If you find yourself on our website, then it is likely you are seeking medical answers for your child, answers that a typical medical approach has yet to reveal.

There is an answer. And it wants to be found...

Often, our patients come to us not knowing what to do or try next. The first thing we'd like you to know is that we understand, and that we're glad you are here. There IS an answer, and we will work with you to find it. We have helped thousands of families just like yours find relief, healing and—in a word—hope.

OUR APPROACH

While no medical practice can guarantee results, we can assure you that our process examines many factors not typically considered by most clinics. This careful process often provides surprising results.

HOW WE ENGAGE

It begins with you. Listening to you. Observing your child. New patients are often surprised that we spend so much time in our clinic visits. This is not by accident. There are many factors and contributors to any health issue or concern—especially in children. As we spend time with you, some less obvious contributors can start to reveal themselves.

Yes, we will address the symptoms, but with an eye and an ear trained on the subtle underlying signs that lead us to the source of the problem. Only then can true healing begin.

They deserve to thrive!

MFP Mother & Baby Lift.jpg

You know if your children are thriving.

Parents of children that suffer with difficult or chronic symptoms from severe allergies, sleep deprivation issues and even ADD/ADHD often give up on the belief that their children can function “normally,” let alone thrive. Too often, these kids have been misdiagnosed or prescribed with powerful, personality altering pharmacological drugs that may affect some of the behavioral symptoms, but do nothing to address the underlying causes of the illness or source of the problem. Our philosophy of treatment and care is a little different, incorporating the best parts of western medicine with the remarkable healing properties of advanced nutritional and metabolic analysis through genetic testing—to get to the root of the metabolic deficiencies found in many children. Allergy testing and sleep studies can also provide illumination into the chronic issues and patterns that can lie at the source of behavioral challenges and even learning struggles in countless children we see. If you are still reading this, you’ve likely tried traditional medical avenues with little success. If you are like many of our patient families, you’re deeply tired and concerned, yet even more deeply motivated to find answers and relief for your child. As we say, there are answers that want to be found. We are motivated to work with you to find those answers. Sometimes the journey takes time. But sometimes we find a simple allergen removal or additional supplement changes everything. Every child is different. So our approach is custom—unique to each child. But the goal is always the same. After all, your child deserves to thrive.

A Few Words from Scott

It has been brought to my attention that our clinic has received many phone calls from concerned parents asking how they can participate in the newly started GoFundMe account—and worried that actions could be taken by the the state medical board to disrupt me from the privilege of providing medical care for your children and families.

I want to reassure all of you that the initial attacks against me have been brought on by a small handful of people that have no ties to our medical practice, and by pharmacies and hospitals that have a zero tolerance policy on family members asking that I help them advocate for loved ones that have been admitted and written off in our current system of dismissiveness and neglect.

I don’t know that I have the words to adequately describe the deep sense of love and connection I have received from you, the families I serve, and those that have reached out to me in this deeply challenging time. I have read your words, I have seen your generosity, many of you have actually prayed over me and for my amazing staff to be able to continue to provide the type of care that everyone as human beings, deserves to receive, regardless of affiliations or ideologies.

I made this commitment to help all who seek my help—first with my creator, then to my wife and children, and then to myself—knowing the profound impact and the negative toll it would have on my family.

My decision to serve was not made by me, It was offered to me, by the highest authority. The only relevant question put to me was, “Is there a life not worth saving?”

I have heard many flattering words from you, talking about my courage etc, and I am truly grateful for every single one of you that has lifted me up when I didn’t know if I could continue the fight or sacrifice one more moment with my family. It’s very important to me that you all understand that the only word I would want to be synonymous with my name, is servant— regardless of how this ends.

I guess what I am asking is that you, my patients, friends, families, and community, continue to pray for us and our mission to serve those who have been willfully and tragically ignored.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
— Scott
